Suzanne Brown

Suzanne’s passion for dance and fitness began at a young age. She has been teaching dance since her high school days. In college she took intermediate and advanced ballet and modern dance. Graduating with a BS in Biomedical Science, and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in Science, Suzanne worked for eight years in education. Suzanne says her extensive Science and nutrition background, and love for dance and fitness, combined with her classroom teaching experience, made pursuing a position in fitness instruction an easy decision. As a Barre instructor she hopes to provide clients with a fun atmosphere, where they are continually challenged and motivated to reach their personal fitness goals.

Kara Bruegger

Prior to Kara’s fitness ambitions taking over, she graduated from Sam Houston State University with a double major in Finance and Banking. Kara spent just a few years behind a desk, when she realized the need to refocus and pursue her desire to motivate and support women in the area of health and physical fitness.
 
Kara is an experienced STOTT certified Pilates instructor, with specialty training in posture analysis. She is also certified in Booty Barre, PiYo, and is a Level 1 Nutrition Coach.
 
Kara's sweet spirit creates a warm and encouraging atmosphere for her clients, and her fun personality is both motivating and contagious.  Kara is thrilled to be part of The Workout Barre and we are blessed to have her on our team. She is looking forward to assisting you in achieving your health and fitness goals.
 
A slight twist on Open Barre, this class incorporates larger range of motion moves and three cardio segments, which together, keep the fat-burning aerobic furnace of your body on!  Light dumbbells are used for upper body work. Same great results with extra endurance challenges and the benefit of increased calorie burn.
This class can be easily modified if you need more or less and is appropriate for all fitness levels.
